Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible Placements in Manchester

About the role
Join Aspire People as a Secondary Supply Teacher and support a range of secondary schools across Manchester. You will work on a flexible basis, covering daily, short‑term or long‑term assignments for the upcoming academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject or provide general cover.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
- Maintain effective classroom management and uphold safeguarding policies.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
- Two years of recent references covering teaching experience.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS.
- Positive, adaptable attitude with a passion for high‑quality education.
- Ability to work independently and follow school procedures.
