Semi-Senior Audit & Accounts Specialist

About the role

This semi‑senior audit and accounts role offers hands‑on experience with SMEs and owner‑managed businesses in a relaxed, close‑knit Top‑100 practice. You will avoid the high‑pressure environment of large firms while still gaining exposure to the full audit lifecycle and year‑end accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit work for SMEs and owner‑managed businesses from planning through completion.
• Prepare accounts and support year‑end processes.
• Interact directly with clients early in engagements.
• Assist with valuations work when workload permits.

Required profile

• Previous audit and/or accounts experience in a UK practice.
• Currently studying for ACA or ACCA (or planning to start).
• Strong work ethic and a down‑to‑earth attitude.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a supportive team.
