Senior Architect – Residential Sector Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead our Residential sector across regional studios. Reporting to the Director/Board Sponsor, you will shape strategy, drive design excellence and support business growth in the residential market.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director/Board Sponsor in delivering the sector strategy.
• Lead work‑winning activities, including bids, client engagement and pipeline development.
• Design and oversee residential projects, ensuring high‑quality, place‑making outcomes.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate stakeholder engagements and public consultations.
• Champion best practice, standardisation and continuous improvement across projects.
• Share lessons learned and promote collaboration across sectors and regions.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5+ years post‑qualification experience delivering residential projects.
• Proven track record in design leadership and project delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Design and technical capability in residential architecture.
• Experience supporting bids, proposals and client presentations.
