Senior Associate Project Manager – Healthcare

About the role

RLB is seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate level Project Manager to lead medium to large‑scale healthcare and life‑sciences construction projects in London. You will manage the delivery team, engage stakeholders and support business development in the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee tender processes, contract administration (including NEC contracts), and manage risks, opportunities and project performance.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships, and coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members, manage resourcing to achieve target margins, and support professional development and chartership.
• Lead bid preparation, fee proposals and contribute to business development and sector growth.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in a relevant discipline with professional accreditation (or working towards) such as RICS, CIOB or APM.
• Proven experience delivering healthcare, life‑sciences or NHS projects from conception through to completion, with strong knowledge of construction project delivery and contract administration (NEC & JCT preferred).
• Demonstrable experience in work winning, client account development and managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Asta Powerproject or MS Project for scheduling.
• Contract administration expertise (NEC, JCT).
• Business case drafting aligned with HM Treasury Green Book principles (preferred).
