Senior Land Manager

About the role

The Senior Land Manager will join a well‑established PLC housebuilder in Yorkshire, reporting directly to senior leadership. The role balances front‑end land acquisition with broader development responsibilities, offering exposure to both commercial and strategic aspects of residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source, and appraise new land opportunities across Yorkshire.
• Lead negotiations and secure land acquisitions.
• Develop and implement planning and promotion strategies.
• Coordinate technical and infrastructure requirements.
• Conduct viability and commercial reviews.
• Manage consultants, landowners, and external stakeholders.
• Support sites through the development pipeline to delivery stage.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Senior Land Manager level or a Land Manager ready to step up.
• Background in PLC housebuilding, strategic land, land promotion, planning, development or consultancy.
• Commercially aware with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to operate across acquisition and wider development matters.
