Site Agent / Site Manager – Aviation Projects

About the role
AmcoGiffen Aviation is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager to lead civil engineering and airside projects at Birmingham Airport. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient delivery of maintenance and infrastructure works within a live, regulated airfield environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations across a portfolio of airside maintenance and construction projects.
- Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
- Lead site teams while maintaining airport operational requirements.
- Monitor progress against programme, cost and quality targets.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and best practice.
- Support commercial and project delivery teams with change management and contract administration.
- Assist with procurement, material requisitions and conduct inductions, briefings and toolbox talks.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing civil engineering or airside projects in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental legislation applicable to airports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, clients and subcontractors.
