Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a busy kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract for social housing properties in Birmingham. The role starts immediately (Monday 27 July) and runs until 28 August, overseeing day‑to‑day site operations and ensuring quality, health and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works across social housing properties.
• Manage trades, sub‑contractors and the direct workforce to deliver works on schedule.
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for tenants, sub‑contractors and client representatives.
• Enforce site Health & Safety policies, conduct RAMS assessments and run toolbox talks.
• Maintain exceptional quality control and ensure all works are completed to specification.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social housing refurbishment contracts, specifically internal kitchen and bathroom works.
• Valid CSCS Black or White Card (essential).
• SMSTS certification and First Aid at Work qualification.
• Excellent tenant liaison and site management skills.
• Based within a reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham and eligible to work in the UK.
