Specification Sales Executive – Lintels & Structural Building Materials

About the role

This is a trainee field‑sales position focused on securing specifications for an award‑winning range of lintels and structural building products. You will work across Greater London and the Home Counties, building relationships with architects, house builders and high‑rise developers.

Key responsibilities

• Track residential new‑build projects using Glenigan and an in‑house CRM system.
• Secure specifications for lintels and masonry support products.
• Identify and win projects with architects, national and regional house builders, and high‑rise developers.
• Collaborate with colleagues who manage relationships with builders' merchants and construction distributors.
• Leverage a technical team for drawings, calculations and project plans.

Required profile

• Some sales experience within the construction industry (field or office) or a recent graduate with a construction‑related degree, preferably architecture.
• Commitment to a long‑term career in field and specification sales.
• Driven, ambitious, commercially minded with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
