Stores Supervisor

About the role

The Stores Supervisor will lead the Stores department at AAG Defence Services, supporting the maintenance of the RAF’s A400M fleet. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure efficient receipt, issue and control of aircraft parts in a regulated MAA Part‑145 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise shift operators to achieve required output and maintain resource availability.
• Receive, receipt and accurately process incoming parts onto the AMOS system.
• Issue parts from the stores counter, ensuring correct labeling, packaging and documentation.
• Maintain health and safety standards and enforce security of all store assets.
• Manage stock levels, place orders with contractors, and account for service‑able spares after maintenance.
• Process US returns and handle US‑specific documentation.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the stores computer system and ensure integrity of part labels.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Motivated individual with experience supervising a store or warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of MAA Part‑145 regulations and aviation parts handling.
• Ability to work safely, enforce health‑and‑safety practices and protect store assets.
• Good organisational skills to manage stock, orders and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMOS store management software.
