Strategic Account Manager – Hybrid (UK)

About the role
The Strategic Account Manager will grow business with new accounts and deepen relationships with existing named accounts across a defined UK territory. Working in a hybrid model, you will be responsible for driving incremental revenue and expanding the adoption of AVEVA software solutions and services.
Key responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly incremental revenue targets aligned with the regional business plan.
- Develop and execute a cross‑portfolio sales strategy using AVEVA Strategic Sales Plays.
- Identify, pursue and close new revenue opportunities from prospecting to contract signing.
- Create and maintain detailed Account Plans outlining strategic and tactical actions.
- Build C‑level relationships to understand digital initiatives and position AVEVA as a strategic partner.
- Report monthly performance using the AVEVA Account Manager Dashboard.
- Maintain a robust pipeline following AVEVA MEDDPICC forecasting protocols and record activity in Salesforce.
Required profile
- Significant experience in sales, account management or business development selling software solutions to utilities, infrastructure, O&G, transmission & distribution, EPCs or design consultants.
- Strong knowledge of IT software and industry‑specific trends across the sectors served by AVEVA.
- Self‑starter capable of managing the full sales cycle independently.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from end‑users to senior executives.
Required skills
- Salesforce CRM proficiency.
- Experience with MEDDPICC forecasting methodology.
