Subsidence Claims Technician – Claims & Financial Services

About the role

Join a UK‑wide loss adjusting firm as a Subsidence Claims Technician, working remotely to manage a dedicated caseload of subsidence insurance claims. You will use digital solutions to deliver high‑quality service while supporting surveying engineers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of subsidence claims from inception to settlement.
• Perform desk‑top handling using digital claims management solutions.
• Coordinate with Surveying Engineers to arrange inspections and instructions.
• Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure smooth claims processing.
• Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the claims journey.
• Apply technical expertise and subsidence knowledge to assess and resolve claims.
• Meet client SLA’s and KPI’s consistently.

Required profile

• Experience in building/subsidence claims handling.
• Good understanding of insurance principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong IT and systems competency.
• Industry qualifications such as CertCILA or Cert CII, or a desire to obtain them.
