Talent Acquisition Specialist – Hybrid (London/Birmingham/Northampton)

About the role

Reed Professional Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own internal recruitment across its consultancy business. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to attract and hire top technical and consultancy talent.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines and team fit.
• Source, screen and shortlist high‑quality candidates across technical disciplines.
• Create and post engaging job adverts on LinkedIn and other job boards.
• Proactively search for and engage passive candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, provide timely feedback and conduct reference checks.
• Maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Track recruitment activity and produce regular MI reports.
• Research and implement innovative attraction strategies while ensuring data protection compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting for a range of roles and seniority levels.
• Strong sourcing capability beyond simple job adverts (e.g., talent mapping, headhunting).
• Confidence engaging with technical professionals.
• Experience using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools effectively.
