Temp Receptionist – Central London Creative Agency

About the role

A leading creative agency in central London is seeking an immediately available temporary receptionist for an initial four‑week assignment, with the possibility of extension. You will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and clients, delivering a professional front‑of‑house experience in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the reception desk, greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• Liaise with the facilities team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee meeting‑room bookings using Condeco.
• Support internal events, including catering, guest lists and general coordination.
• Provide first‑aid and fire‑marshal assistance when required.
• Handle inboxes, telephone calls, deliveries and other front‑of‑house administration.
• Maintain communal areas tidy, organised and client‑ready at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience working across multiple reception or service desks.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Immediate availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Condeco or another room‑booking system (essential).
