About the role
Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an enthusiastic A Level Chemistry Teacher to join a successful sixth‑form college in Greater Manchester on a full‑time, temporary basis from September 2026 until the Christmas break. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to inspire high‑achieving students in a supportive science department.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned A Level Chemistry lessons.
- Plan, prepare and assess coursework and examinations.
- Motivate students to reach their full academic potential.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with the wider Science department to support student success.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry at A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

- Classroom management and student motivation techniques.
