About the role
McKinlay Law is offering a paid trainee position as a Legal Personal Assistant in Central London. This role is designed for recent graduates or candidates with limited office experience who are eager to start a career in legal administration and receive hands‑on mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and type correspondence and legal documents.
- Maintain diaries, schedule meetings and appointments.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Update and manage spreadsheets and other administrative records.
- Provide general secretarial support to solicitors and partners.
Required profile
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in building a long‑term career within a law firm environment.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.
