About the role
As an Employee Relations Advisor at A&M, you will nurture a supportive, values‑led experience for our teams. You will manage people‑related administration, case management and provide trusted advice, helping our culture thrive while ensuring compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line guidance to managers on day‑to‑day people matters.
- Build trusted relationships across the business.
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant people administration.
- Own end‑to‑end people cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and capability matters.
- Manage onboarding across all PX platforms to set new joiners up for success.
- Oversee right‑to‑work documentation and compliance.
- Administer leave balances and benefits with clarity.
- Maintain audit‑ready employee files and systems.
- Support the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll.
- Track and report people data to inform trends and decisions.
- Contribute to improving people‑management resources for managers.
- Collaborate closely with the wider People Team and Area Managers.
Required profile
- Service‑oriented mindset, treating the team as internal customers.
- Strong conflict‑handling abilities and a supportive approach.
- 2+ years experience as a people manager or within an HR/People team.
- Genuine motivation to help people flourish and create positive experiences.
Required skills

- Salary £33,000‑£35,000 per year.
