Graduate Partner Trading & AI Merchandising Executive

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven graduate to manage and automate product data uploads for our key UK retail partners – John Lewis, Next and M&S. You will build end‑to‑end pipelines, ensure flawless listings and use AI tools to optimise digital shelf performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full data preparation and upload process for partner platforms, converting internal product data into partner‑ready formats.
• Design and maintain Excel templates, advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays) and VBA/Python scripts to replace manual entry.
• Implement rigorous validation checks to guarantee zero errors in pricing, dimensions, SKUs and imagery before submission.
• Act as the technical point of contact for partner portal issues, diagnosing and resolving feed discrepancies quickly.
• Deploy AI‑driven scraping tools to monitor product visibility, search rankings and competitor listings on partner sites.
• Analyse listing performance, identify optimisation gaps and adjust copy, search terms and imagery to boost conversion rates.
• Provide competitor intelligence using AI and analytics to benchmark our digital shelf presence.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong analytical mindset and passion for e‑commerce data.
• Obsessive attention to detail and a drive to eliminate manual errors through automation.
• Curiosity about why products sell or don’t sell and a desire to improve digital merchandising.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays).
• VBA scripting.
• Python programming for data pipelines and automation.
