About the role
The Customer Services Administrator will join the Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards Directorate at the UK Health Security Agency. Working in the Customer Services office, you will support the Personal Dosimetry Service, a commercial operation that monitors radiation exposure for thousands of employees across the UK and overseas.
Key responsibilities
- Process day‑to‑day customer enquiries in line with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure high‑quality data handling.
- Investigate invoice and payment queries in collaboration with UKHSA Accounting Services.
- Liaise with customers, internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
- Support the issuance and assessment of personal dosemeters for the Personal Dosimetry Service.
Required profile
- Experience in a customer‑facing administrative role, preferably within a scientific or regulatory environment.
- Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) regulations related to ionising radiation.
- Understanding of radiation dosimetry principles.
