Front Office Team Member – Day/Night Shifts

About the role
We are looking for a Front Office Team Member to join the ibis London Blackfriars team, working both day and night shifts. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience and delivering memorable service throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest arrivals and departures, processing check‑in and check‑out efficiently.
- Maintain accurate guest accounts, post charges, and manage credit transactions securely.
- Communicate guest requests and information to all hotel departments, both verbally and in writing.
- Promote hotel facilities and upsell services using product knowledge.
- Follow health, safety and security procedures, including safe manual handling and incident reporting.
- Maintain internal phone lists, screen reservation calls, and ensure up‑to‑date information is provided.
- Participate in team briefings and keep staff informed of relevant updates.
Required profile
- Ability to work flexible day, late and night shifts, including occasional weekend middle shifts.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with courteous and efficient communication.
- Attention to detail for accurate billing and record keeping.
- Commitment to health, safety and security standards.
