Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Join a hotel within the Accor network as a Housekeeping Attendant. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring a pleasant stay for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and shampoo floors in guest rooms, corridors, offices and reception areas.
• Dust, polish and clean furniture, fixtures and lighting.
• Wash and sanitise bathrooms, replenish toiletries and towels.
• Mix and safely store cleaning agents according to hotel safety policies.
• Empty waste and sharps bins following proper disposal procedures.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, maintain inventory records and liaise with suppliers.
• Coordinate laundry services to minimise guest complaints.
• Report any guest complaints to the Head Housekeeper and ensure rooms are ready within agreed timescales.
• Handle room keys securely and manage lost‑property procedures.
• Follow emergency and safe‑working protocols.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight turnover times.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safe handling and mixing of cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of basic inventory and laundry coordination processes.
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Use of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, mops).
• Mixing and safe storage of cleaning agents.
• Inventory management of housekeeping supplies.
• Coordination of laundry services.
