About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor to join a busy commercial organisation in Salisbury. You will provide hands‑on HR support across the employee lifecycle for a UK and international workforce spanning EMEA, Latin America and the Pacific, working closely with the HR Director on strategy, engagement and global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities, advertise vacancies, arrange interviews and liaise with agencies.
  • Ensure immigration and right‑to‑work compliance, prepare contracts and new‑starter documentation.
  • Support monthly payroll processes, data submission and reconciliation.
  • Maintain HR inboxes, respond to queries, keep HR records accurate and confidential.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, handle absence management, grievances, disciplinary and conflict resolution cases.
  • Assist with performance appraisals, improvement plans, compensation and benefits administration, and pay‑equity analysis.
  • Identify training needs, coordinate learning and development initiatives, and promote career progression.
  • Support compliance with global HR policies, monitor HR metrics, prepare reports for senior leadership and contribute to international HR projects.
  • Participate in employee engagement activities such as events, newsletters and communications.

Required profile

  • Experienced HR Generalist (HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor) with a fast‑paced environment background.
  • International exposure desirable (e.g., Europe, Middle East).
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law; international legislation a plus.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and confident communicator at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Additional language skills (Spanish, French or Italian) advantageous.
