Kitchen Porter – All‑Day Dining at Albie

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Kitchen Porter to join the culinary team at Albie, our all‑day neighbourhood dining spot inside The Hoxton, Southwark. You will help keep the kitchen safe, clean and ready for service in a fast‑moving, hospitality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety standards in your designated section.
• Keep the work area clean, food‑safe and organized.
• Follow company guidelines for waste storage and removal.
• Attend all culinary training sessions.
• Safely open and close the assigned kitchen area.
• Perform general maintenance of culinary equipment, facilities and food‑and‑beverage supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant hygiene and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with a can‑do attitude.
• Passion for food and a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Positive, team‑oriented mindset; willing to leave ego at the door.
• Good sense of humour and ability to enjoy collaborative moments.
