Manager, 1st Line Controls Testing & Certification

About the role

Mastercard’s Vocalink Limited is establishing a 1st Line Control Office and seeks a Manager to lead the Control Testing, Certification and Assurance team. You will oversee certification maintenance, audit coordination and control testing across multiple security frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain certification and assurance documentation and prepare for annual audits.
• Support assessment and validation of controls against standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, PCI PIN, SWIFT CSP and ISAE 3000.
• Conduct periodic testing of key and non‑key controls using the Control Testing Methodology.
• Evaluate compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and customer obligations.
• Escalate control deficiencies, track remediation and produce quality‑assured reports.
• Supervise and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on certification requirements and testing execution.
• Coordinate external audits to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience analysing and assessing control design, implementation and operating effectiveness against at least one major security standard.
• Hands‑on experience managing certifications and audit processes.
• Strong understanding of security and technology control frameworks.
• Leadership capability to guide junior team members.
