Operations Manager – Holiday Let

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Holiday Let Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of our growing UK short‑term rental portfolio. The role is fully remote and ideal for a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of UK holiday lets and serviced accommodation, including Airbnb and Booking.com accounts.
• Oversee the channel manager (Lodgify) to keep calendars and listings accurate across platforms.
• Handle guest communication via chat and phone, ensuring professional customer service.
• Onboard new properties: create listings, upload photos, write descriptions, and set pricing.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, liaise with contractors, and schedule cleaning teams.
• Oversee guest check‑ins and check‑outs and maintain compliance documentation such as Gas Safety Certificates and insurance.
• Monitor operations, identify process improvements and help reduce costs using dynamic pricing tools (PriceLabs) and messaging automation (ChargeAutomation).

Required profile

• 3+ years managing holiday lets, serviced accommodation or short‑term rental operations.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and handle urgent guest issues.
• High attention to detail for compliance, documentation and operational accuracy.

Required skills

• Airbnb and Booking.com platform management.
• Lodgify (or similar) channel management software.
• Dynamic pricing tools such as PriceLabs.
• Guest messaging automation platforms like ChargeAutomation.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools.
