Pharmacy Dispenser – London Stores

About the role

As a Dispenser you will be a core member of the pharmacy team in one of our London stores, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will build relationships with patients, listen to their needs and help them make informed health decisions every day.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection.
• Assist other healthcare professionals in managing and delivering pharmacy services.
• Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when appropriate.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee legal and safe dispensing.
• Support patients with repeat prescriptions, medication adherence and waste reduction.
• Use evolving store technologies to improve dispensing processes and patient safety.
• Participate in regular training and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in a community pharmacy is desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of prescription dispensing procedures and SOPs.
