Property Maintenance Manager – Residential Lettings

About the role

This full‑time position is dedicated to managing the maintenance side of a residential letting portfolio for a well‑established independent estate agency. You will act as the main point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors, ensuring that all maintenance issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming maintenance enquiries from landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance works with approved contractors.
• Arrange and carry out routine property inspections.
• Liaise with landlords, tenants and contractors to provide regular updates.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across the portfolio.
• Maintain accurate property records and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in property management or lettings.
• Solid understanding of residential lettings legislation and tenancy regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Knowledge of the South Manchester area is advantageous.
