Quality Assurance Manager – Crawley

About the role

Thales is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Manager to join its Crawley team. You will act as the voice of the customer, applying risk‑based thinking to support project decisions throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute project audits and surveillance activities in line with Project Quality Plans and audit strategy.
• Represent the customer within project and bid teams, driving customer satisfaction and supporting corrective actions.
• Analyse quality reports, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure timely reporting against project schedules.
• Promote a quality‑focused culture, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong organisational, time‑management and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to resolve complex issues.
• Critical thinking, sound judgement and risk‑identification capabilities.
• Experience in quality environments, preferably manufacturing or engineering.
• Eligibility for SC Clearance (or willingness to obtain it).
