Resourcer – Recruitment & Talent Matching

About the role

As a Resourcer in Serco’s Restart Employment, Skills and Training team, you will connect candidates with meaningful job and training opportunities across the West Midlands. Working closely with Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers, you will help individuals build skills, secure work, and create lasting positive change.

Key responsibilities

• Screen candidates and learners for job roles and training programmes, ensuring alignment with employer requirements.
• Provide feedback, advice and guidance to help candidates prepare for interviews, training and workplace expectations.
• Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers to understand opportunity requirements and fulfil demand.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment journey.
• Accurately record activity and outcomes in CRM systems, tracking progress and key performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve screening processes using feedback, data insights and industry awareness.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition or candidate screening, preferably in a fast‑paced or employability environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging a wide range of people.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage high volumes of activity to tight timescales.
• Collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail and focus on quality outcomes.
• Willingness to obtain BPSS clearance and complete an occupational health questionnaire.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
