About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Lead (Organic) to own the organic social strategy for a design‑led retail brand. Working hybrid (three days in the South London office) within the Brand & Content team, you will focus on strategy, performance and growth rather than day‑to‑day content creation.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an organic social strategy aligned with brand and commercial goals.
  • Set and achieve KPIs such as awareness, reach, engagement and audience growth.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of two social specialists.
  • Use analytics tools and data insights to monitor performance and continuously optimise.
  • Identify high‑performing content formats and refine channel strategies.
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates and competitor activity.
  • Manage organic social budgets and ensure output matches a premium brand aesthetic.
  • Drive growth opportunities, including expanding Pinterest and building TikTok presence.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in a social media role with ownership of strategy and performance.
  • Track record of growing organic channels (reach, engagement, community).
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends and performance drivers.
  • Strong analytical ability to turn data into insights and actions.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
  • Eye for visual storytelling and brand‑led social content.
  • Background in retail, fashion or lifestyle is a plus, but passion for social media is essential.
