Software Engineer – National Security Projects

About the role

You will join a growing National Security technology team delivering high‑impact programmes for government, defence and commercial sectors. The role involves building secure, large‑scale software solutions that make a real difference in critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software for complex information and communications systems.
• Work on back‑end development and data‑processing projects using languages such as Java, C++, Python, Node.js or C.
• Support cloud‑based engineering within AWS environments.
• Debug and resolve code defects efficiently.
• Collaborate in Agile delivery teams on high‑impact secure programmes.

Required profile

• Experience with one or more back‑end languages (Java, C++, Python, Node.js, C).
• Passion for solving complex technical problems.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Interest in cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker or micro‑services.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance and at least 5 years continuous UK residency.
