Accountant – Wilmslow (Full‑time, £50‑55k)

About the role

We are seeking an ACCA/ACA qualified (or part‑qualified) Accountant to join our proactive firm in Wilmslow. The role offers a competitive salary of £50‑55k and a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule, allowing you to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and develop lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and charities.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio and conduct credit‑control activities.
• Collaborate closely with the partner on client matters.
• Liaise with clients, advising on accounting systems and processes.
• Produce tax computations, VAT returns and undertake bookkeeping tasks.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualification (or part‑qualified).
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven ability to handle a large client base and build strong relationships.
• Experience with GP practice clients is advantageous.
