Accounts Advisor – Hybrid – £45,000

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing accountancy and business advisory firm to recruit an Accounts Advisor. The role is hybrid, based in Manchester, and offers a salary of up to £45,000 per year. You will act as a trusted adviser to owner‑managed businesses and SMEs while developing your own leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
• Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with owners and senior managers.
• Review accounts and ensure high‑quality delivery of financial services.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with directors on client strategy and service improvement.
• Identify opportunities to add value and drive client retention.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice, preferably at senior accountant or client manager level.
• Background working with owner‑managed businesses and SME clients.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to develop others.
