Accounts & Business Advisory Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West. The role offers a blend of client‑facing account work, strategic advisory and leadership, with the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses across multiple sectors.
• Review statutory accounts prepared under FRS102 and FRS105.
• Review and prepare corporation tax computations and management accounts.
• Deliver business advisory services to improve client profitability and growth.
• Act as the primary point of contact, building long‑term trusted relationships.
• Support clients with cloud accounting solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities in collaboration with specialist teams.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Assist directors with business development and networking activities.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio.
• Excellent commercial awareness and advisory mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff.
