Advanced Team Member – Manufacturing Line

About the role

KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family, is hiring Advanced Team Members for its Ashby de la Zouch site. You will own a specific piece of equipment and act as a subject matter expert, helping keep the line running safely, smoothly and efficiently. The shift pattern is a 3-shift rotation Monday to Friday (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00).

Key responsibilities

• Owning and improving equipment performance, keeping it maintained, safe and running at optimal level.
• Carrying out testing procedures, checking work against quality standards and maintaining hygiene and housekeeping.
• Using problem-solving tools and IWS principles and daily management systems to eliminate losses, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
• Training and coaching colleagues to run, maintain and care for the equipment confidently and safely.
• Working with the team, communicating clearly via the Shift Board and supporting daily line targets.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing or food production (highly desirable, with training support).
• Good literacy and numeracy, able to follow instructions and record information.
• Proactive approach to solving problems and improving performance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative.

Required skills

• Mechanical understanding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify issues in mechanical components and support effective problem-solving.
