AI Solution Engineer - Manager

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced AI Solution Engineer to act as the link between its industry architects, who identify AI business cases, and the firm's development capabilities. The role shapes AI solutions, meets client needs and delivers measurable business value and technically feasible solutions. It is primarily sales-oriented, supporting the sales process by bridging technical teams and non-technical salespeople so that prospects understand how an AI/ML solution solves their business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Select, design, demonstrate and deliver prototype AI solutions that fit customer needs and business goals during early engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor, creating cloud prototypes to show the value of solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify viable and feasible AI solutions to address specific client issues and use them to demonstrate PwC's technical capability in proposals
• Explain the technical requirements and dependencies of hyperscaler AI offerings to potential clients

Required profile

• Extensive experience working with sales teams and shaping viable software solutions for enterprise customers
• Evidenced expertise in LLMs and SLMs, including their performance, suitability, training requirements and deployment
• Practical experience with at least two of: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI and Azure ML
• Understanding of statistics, machine learning, data science, data engineering and big data concepts
• Knowledge of landing zones, security and AI cost optimisation
