Air Export Operations Clerk – 4 on / 4 off

About the role

We are partnering with a medium‑large freight forwarder to hire an Air Export Operations Clerk on a 4‑on/4‑off schedule. You will manage export consignments from initiation to completion, ensuring all regulatory controls and procedural steps are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Process air export shipments end‑to‑end, preparing documentation and liaising with customs.
• Maintain compliance with aviation security and dangerous‑goods regulations.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to internal teams and external clients.
• Coordinate with the commercial team and weekend gateway operations team.
• Work independently during weekend shifts, communicating with warehouse staff as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air export operations covering the full shipment cycle.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate arithmetic skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle frequent customer contact.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £38,000 per year, dependent on experience.
