Android Developer (100% remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our multinational technology consultancy. The position is fully remote from Chile and focuses on building critical, high‑impact mobile applications with an emphasis on security, stability, and code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin (and Java when needed).
• Implement complex flows such as biometric authentication, push notifications, QR code scanning, and device communication.
• Design solutions following MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Collaborate within agile Scrum/Kanban teams, participate in technical design and code reviews.
• Ensure high quality through unit, integration, and UI testing, and manage version control.

Required profile

• Proven experience with native Android development (Kotlin primary, Java a plus).
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, XML layouts or Jetpack Compose, and Material Design/Material 3.
• Familiarity with Git, Gitflow, and Firebase services (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Experience with testing pyramids and agile tools such as Jira, Scrum, and Kanban.
