Anti Social Behaviour Officer – Safer Estates Enforcement

About the role

The Safer Estates Enforcement Officer will work on an interim basis for a leading housing association, focusing on serious and persistent anti‑social behaviour and tenancy breach cases. You will collaborate with internal teams, legal representatives and external partners to create safer, sustainable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, high‑risk ASB, hate crime, domestic abuse and tenancy breach cases, progressing enforcement action where appropriate.
• Prepare legal documentation, witness statements and case files, liaising with legal teams and representing the organisation at court hearings when required.
• Provide expert case‑management advice to Neighbourhood Officers, ensuring effective evidence gathering and timely escalation.
• Work in partnership with external agencies, support services and enforcement partners to achieve positive outcomes for customers and communities.
• Maintain accurate case records on housing management systems and ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Experience managing serious ASB, tenancy enforcement, safeguarding or housing management cases.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement processes and legal remedies relating to tenancy breaches.
• Experience preparing court‑ready evidence, conducting interviews and supporting witnesses through legal proceedings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Competent IT skills and experience using housing management and case‑management systems.
