Applications Engineer – Enterprise Systems (London, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an Applications Engineer to join the technology team of a leading global law firm. The role sits at the intersection of technology, operations and business systems, supporting a broad portfolio of enterprise applications. You will work in a hybrid setting based in London, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve system reliability and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Enterprise applications support and administration.
• Systems implementation, upgrades and migrations.
• Application integrations and workflow optimisation.
• SDLC activities, testing, release management and UAT.
• Reporting, dashboards and operational analytics.
• Vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
• Security remediation, compliance and audit support.

Required profile

• Strong experience supporting and delivering enterprise business applications in a professional services environment.
• Experience in legal or professional services settings is advantageous.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders across Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations and IT.
• Enjoys enterprise systems, business‑facing technology, process improvement and cross‑functional project delivery.
• Comfortable working across both technical and operational teams.
