Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning (Milton Keynes)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead commercial contract cleaning operations across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. You will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of around 20 contracts covering education facilities, car showrooms, and office environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and contract renewal.
• Oversee daily cleaning service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to meet service schedules.
• Monitor financial performance of contracts, including budgeting and invoicing.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing commercial cleaning or facilities management contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on account growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure.
