Area Manager – Customer Fulfillment

About the role

As an Area Manager in Amazon’s Customer Fulfillment network, you will lead a site‑wide team to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality order processing. You will own shift performance, drive continuous improvement and act as a mentor for new managers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and sustain a culture of safety and wellbeing across the site.
• Analyse performance data and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity.
• Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise productivity and enhance customer service.
• Monitor shift performance against business objectives and initiate actions for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and drive best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Proven experience in people management and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to use data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.

Required skills

• MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
