Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Full‑time, Southampton

About the role

We are seeking a dual‑qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to deliver surveying and analytical services across commercial, domestic and public sector sites on the South Coast, primarily based in Southampton. The role offers a structured workload, long‑term stability and the chance to work for a UKAS‑accredited consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, 4‑stage clearances and re‑occupation certification.
• Conduct bulk sampling and ensure compliance with sampling procedures.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports following HSG264 and HSG248 guidelines.
• Manage workload across multiple sites throughout the South Coast.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 certification (essential).
• Proven experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable.
