Assistant Building Surveyor – APC Support & Career Progression

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a well‑established consultancy operating across the UK. The role offers genuine APC support embedded in daily practice, giving you a clear pathway toward chartership while working on diverse projects in sectors such as healthcare, residential, commercial, retail and education.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out building surveying instructions across multiple sectors.
• Assist with surveys, defect analysis and report writing.
• Support the preparation of specifications and tender documentation.
• Attend site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams from inception to completion.

Required profile

• RICS‑accredited Building Surveying degree.
• Experience in a building surveying role within a consultancy environment.
• Currently working towards APC or eager to start the process.
• Strong technical understanding of core building surveying services.
• Excellent communication and a collaborative approach.
