Assistant Manager - Pub & Kitchen

About the role

Greene King is hiring a part-time Assistant Manager for its Dirty Bottles pub in Alnwick. You will be at the heart of the management team, helping to keep a busy pub running smoothly and leading by example so that customers and the team have a great time. The role is permanent, scheduled for 45 hours per week, with a salary of 32,000 to 34,000 plus bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business and lead the business in their absence.
• Lead the team in delivering great experiences for customers and bring the brand to life.
• Act as a role model and support the team with training and development.
• Uphold brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to get the best out of people.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the challenges of a busy shift.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
