Assistant Sales Manager – Property Sales

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Sales Manager to support our residential property sales team in Horsham. The role combines client‑facing activities with business development, helping to grow the branch’s sales volume and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales business and increase income for the branch.
• Appraise and instruct residential sales properties.
• Identify additional business opportunities and refer them to the appropriate division.
• Register, qualify and manage prospective buyers.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings.
• Maintain compliance with all legal obligations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with available properties and market trends.
• Implement effective canvassing and marketing strategies.
• Develop the core business and assist in team management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior sales role within the property market.
• Track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets.
• Experience in property listing and valuation.
• High level of customer service and strong telephone etiquette.
• Self‑starter with tenacity and the ability to adapt to change.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary of £28,000 per year.
• On‑target earnings up to £38,000.
• Full‑time permanent contract, Monday‑Friday 8:45 am‑5:30 pm plus one Saturday fortnightly.
