Associate Landscape Architect

About the role

A fast-growing UK planning and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate Landscape Architect in Birmingham. The role leads and delivers complex landscape planning projects, mentors junior colleagues and helps shape the growth of the regional team. It suits established consultants who want a leadership position with progression potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) work, primarily in the residential and energy sectors
• Provide strategic landscape advice and planning support
• Take part in business development and client relationship management
• Mentor junior team members and help grow the regional team

Required profile

• Chartered Landscape Architect with a strong track record in landscape planning and LVIA
• Significant consultancy experience, ideally on residential, energy or large-scale strategic development projects
• Proven experience managing projects, building client relationships and mentoring juniors
• Combines technical rigour with commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Confident working independently but collaborative and supportive as a team leader
