Audit Manager – Internal Audit

About the role

The Audit Manager will lead internal audit assignments for BPCE Equipment Solutions in the UK, ensuring that the bank’s risk control systems are complete, consistent and operating effectively. The role reports to the Head of Audit and may also support audit activities across other European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all audit activities comply with FCA Principles for Business and other European regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk‑based assessments of systems and controls, focusing on counter‑party risk, IT security, control mechanisms, and accounting quality.
• Plan, lead and document audit engagements, producing audit programs, working papers, reports and dashboards.
• Design and execute tests of mitigating controls, evaluate their operational effectiveness, and make improvement recommendations.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and maintain ongoing business partnering throughout the recommendation lifecycle.
• Perform continuous monitoring, identify emerging risks, and alert senior audit leadership as needed.
• Promote and enhance the Audit Methodology standards across the team.
• Undertake ad‑hoc or emergency audit assignments and support audit coverage in other European countries when required.
