Audit Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing UK firm to recruit an ambitious Audit Manager for their Letchworth office. You will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of SME clients, mentor junior staff and work closely with partners to deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion for SME clients.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities to add value.
• Review work and mentor junior team members throughout the audit process.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure compliance with audit standards and deliver high‑quality reports.
• Support client growth by providing insight and recommendations.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience working in a UK practice audit environment.
• Proven experience auditing SME clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ambitious attitude.
