Azure Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure technologies to design, build, and evolve scalable, business‑oriented data products. You will work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Azure Cloud.
• Work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Synapse Notebooks, PySpark, SQL and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Implement dimensional data models and transformation logic.
• Create efficient batch and incremental pipelines that scale with demand.
• Set up data quality checks and monitoring using Azure Monitor.
• Automate deployments with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and define best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into data solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering on Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Synapse Notebooks, Azure Data Lake Storage, PySpark and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Monitor.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures and dimensional modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
