Banking Representative – Customer Service (Swindon)

About the role

Metro Bank is looking for a friendly and reliable Banking Representative to be the face of the bank in its Swindon store. You will interact directly with customers, understand their needs and guide them to the right products and services while upholding the bank’s high standards of compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalised service to customers in‑branch.
• Identify and recommend suitable banking products and services based on customer needs.
• Prioritise tasks and manage workload in a fast‑paced environment to meet store objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure all transactions are compliant.
• Support the Bristol store on occasional Saturdays and assist with any additional store duties.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Understanding of risk implications in a banking environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to take responsibility and act in the best interest of customers and the bank.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
